Amidst the chaos of our days, I humbly believe that art and music never mattered more … and so we give you this song on Friday, which I wrote a while back, reflecting on the Good, the “Bad” and the Ugly of a toxic relationship. This is an empowering folk noir tune inspired by the theme of gaslighting – a term that originally derives from the 1944 film “Gaslight”. “Bad” is also the title track of my upcoming second EP featuring Adam Green on guitar and Maddy Hamilton on cello. The song was recorded and mixed by Angela Turner at My Century Productions and mastered by Mike Connaris of Mcasso Music. A special thank you to filmmaker, Pidikiti Jeetendra, who created the cover art and Todorov Photography for the photograph it was based on. Thank you also to Just Rocks and Coral for the necklace design. The EP, “Bad”, will also be released in 2022, date TBC, and includes a song I wrote for the award-winning short film written by actor/producer, Tatjana Anders, “Your Reality” – a film that has so far amassed over 2 million views on YouTube. “Bad” is both the end and the beginning of the story.
